At the age of four, I underwent cataract surgery that changed the course of my life. Though my right eye regained vision, my left never reached full clarity — leaving me with what doctors called "one good eye." What they didn’t know was that this difference would give me a unique way of seeing the world.

I grew up with a kind of built-in camera — my own lens, shaped by limitation but expanded through imagination. When I received my first contact lens at eighteen, it widened my field of view both literally and metaphorically. That sense of a human camera — one eye framing the world — never left me. It became my artistic identity.

My professional life began behind the camera: I worked in advertising photography, specializing in automotive imagery, portraiture, and catalog work. Over the years, I’ve photographed everything from CEOs to marching bands, models to wildflowers, with a deep appreciation for light, texture, and form. Photography, for me, is not just a craft — it’s the language I use to connect.

Today, I channel that lifetime of visual storytelling into 1 Vision Design, my print-on-demand creative studio. From digital wall art to apparel to lifestyle goods, I blend fine art, photography, and mindful design. Every piece I create comes from the perspective of someone who has seen the world through a singular, resilient lens — one that filters life through beauty, clarity, and calm.
